February Already?

The weekend was a lot of fun - but again - not the healthiest.

Friday night hubby and I went to Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore since we each had some free slot play on our cards to use. I didn't do so hot but hubby did. He did well enough that he gave me enough money to erase my loss so I kind of "broke even" for the night. Unfortunately we stayed out so late that we ended up having to drive through McDonald's for our very late dinner.

Saturday morning I lounged around and watched the finale of The Biggest Loser while my tummy recuperated from the previous night. I had avoided all social media mentions of the finale winner because I didn't want to know in advance who had won. I was glad that at this year's finale everyone looked like they had lost their final weight the healthy way.

While I was laying in bed watching tv and drinking coffee I decided to update MyFitness Pal. I can't believe the creamer I was using had so many calories! Normally I'll use plain creamer or sugar free - that was so not worth the calories!

When my stomach settled down I was able to get in a workout before hubby and I hit the streets for the day!

Saturday's workout

Saturday we had to go to the car dealership to figure out what we're going to do with my car. The lease is almost up so we can do one of three things - walk away from it at the end of the lease, buy it out, or go into a new car for a new lease. Since the twin teens will be turning 15 next month and getting ready to take Driver's Ed soon after - it's something we need to consider carefully.

Saturday night we ended up at a different casino - Maryland Live. Our intent was really to go to dinner at one of our fave burger places - Bobby's Burger Palace. They have the BEST burgers and we always split the fries! The casino wasn't too nice to me or hubby that night so it may be awhile before we go back to either one.

Sunday I did the weekly meal plan/SuperBowl food planning before we went grocery shopping. I made sure I got my workout in BEFORE the big game so I could get my steps in. My secret goal for myself is to get 10K steps a day in for the month of February.

I ate a bunch of junk food and one beer during the Super Bowl. Let's not talk about the outcome of the game though. I'm too depressed to relive the final seconds.

Tuesday I hardly had any steps in so I hopped on the treadmill before bed for another one of my wogs. I can't wait for the weather to get warmer though - I do miss my outdoor runs.

  1. I'm trying to get 10,000 a day too! It's hard! That Super Bowl....I hate both teams so I didn't care either way but if I had to choose it would be the Seahawks ugh. Let's talk about the 1 yard line and THROWING the
